APRA Reporting Standard DRS 1.1 Notification by AFS Licence holders (DRS 1.1). This standard provides authority to APRA to collect information from AFSL holders authorised to deal in miscellaneous financial risk products about Discretionary Mutual Funds (DMFs).

Who does it apply to?

AFSL holders authorised to deal in miscellaneous financial risk products as at 30 September 2011.

What information do I need to report?

APRA is looking for details of DMFs you have dealt with during the period 1 January 2008 to 31 December 2010.

You are required to report the following details about the DMFs:

  • ABN
  • Registered Office
  • phone number
  • applicable calendar years, and
  • gross contribution revenue in FY 2010

What if I have not had any dealings with a DMF?

If you have not had any dealings with a DMF, you are required to submit a ‘Nil’ report.

When is the deadline?

AFSL holders are required to report back to APRA before 31 January 2012 using the notification template/schedule provided.
